Debut release from a young "Shaped Harmonics" label, a split record by two Russian musicians known as Ambidextrous and Novel 23. Six tracks (two from each artist plus two remixes) make an audio cocktail of ingredients such as crunchy electro rhythms, interweaving melodies and distant voice samples. All this can be characterized as IDM with musical, harmonic component being dominant. The record combines modern experimental sound with neo-romantic feeling from the 80s.
